摘要
Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI) have enabled game AI systems to achieve superhuman performance in many domains. However, strength alone does not necessarily lead to better experiences for human players. Human-centered game AI considers how AI can understand, adapt to, and support people, as well as how it can generate game content that appears natural and engaging to them. In this talk, I will introduce selected studies from our recent research on game AI, covering topics such as human-like behavior, player support, and procedural content generation. Through examples from board games and digital games, I will discuss how AI techniques can be used not only to play games effectively, but also to create game experiences that better reflect human abilities, preferences, and expectations.
